First, we’ll discuss with you the look you want for your new site. What pages, functions and features need to be included. We’ll then send across a blueprint, similar to this, so you can begin to see how things might look…
Imagine this was your homepage, the benefits of blueprints are that you begin to get a feel of where you want things to be and how you want them to look. If by viewing this you would prefer the image (the picture outline to the left) to be over here on the right, and this text to be on the left side, let us know. Want the pic to be bigger/smaller? What colour background? Which font? Font colour? And so on…
You will also see the amount of content required for any given area. How many images you need. The amount of written content you should provide. If you don’t want to do the writing yourself, no problem. Our in-house copywriter can take care of that, but this would not be included in the cost of starter plans. So, consider your personal wishlist of features and functions and send it over. Then tell us what you like and what you want to change from the resulting blueprint. This then helps everyone move forward comfortable that we are on the, erm, same page.
